With 35 years of experience, we are a trailblazer in the visual communication industry in Malaysia. We manufacture and trade our own range, used locally and in 64 countries worldwide.

From a home balcony to 64 countries
Mr. Yong, CEO of WriteBest Group, started from humble beginnings: a job at a stationery company, growing from salesman to businessman. His first venture was in stationery trading, and that is where he found a gap in the market: the value of whiteboards in a blackboard world.
He spent countless hours experimenting with materials and methods, and broke into the market with his first whiteboard, made to meet what customers needed.

We introduced NOVA, a brand designed to redefine modern workspaces through innovation, functionality and thoughtful design.

Formed to grow niche stationery-related brands in Malaysia.
Golden Eagle Award
Ranked in the Golden Eagle Award (Excellent Eagle) three years running: top 8 in 2015, top 6 in 2016 and top 2 in Malaysia in 2017, organised by Nanyang Siang Pau.
Two new companies
Sulomas Sdn Bhd, for waste management and stainless-steel bins, and Mamorim Sdn Bhd, which supplies cork-based products and distributes Amorim Cork from Portugal.
Expanding across Malaysia
We expanded into the Northern Region (Penang), established WriteBest Johor Bahru, incorporated WriteBest Kota Kinabalu in Sabah, and formed Rocada Sibu in Sarawak.
Our new headquarters
We moved into the new headquarters and 250,000 sq ft manufacturing plant in Hulu Langat, and the team grew to 100 employees. Mr. Yong received the Most Promising Entrepreneurship Award at the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA) 2008.
Our first subsidiary
WriteBest Stationery Sdn Bhd was formed, focused on stationery supplies trading.
Building for the future
Construction of the new headquarters began, and WriteBest achieved Superbrands status for branding excellence.
We acquired 250,000 sq ft of land for our expansion.
WriteBest Manufacturing Sdn Bhd was formed for manufacturing, while Writebest Sdn Bhd ran trading. We moved to a 16,000 sq ft factory and the team tripled to almost 50.
Writebest Sdn Bhd was formed.
Our first export
Our first shipment went to Australia, and exports soon grew across Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
The birth of the brand
WriteBest Enterprise was formed and the WriteBest brand was born, in a humble 1,800 sq ft lot with a team of 15.
Everwin Trading was formed, trading mainly in stationery. Whiteboards were just one of its products.

Mr. Yong Yoon Ming began researching and developing whiteboards on the balcony of his own home.
